Firaal it a bishnupriya manipuri word. Firaal means flag. In bishnupriya Manipuri society Firaal refers to the sign of themes.the inner characteristics of the people belonging to the society. Its made with a very lifht thin and transparent home made white cotton cloth which is made for use is sacred rituals only. a number of bamboo blades are stitched parallel to the cloth keeping some distance in between, and many colourful threads are tied it. In the month of october we organised a festival its called "Hari Uthan" on this day we prepare the Firaal.
