Shahid Sudeshna Sinha(1965-1996)
Sudeshna sinha was a great attribute to bishnupriya manipuri samaj.
on 16 march,1996 she took part in Bishnupriya Manupriya Bhasa Andolon(Imar Thar Punchi Palok) 500 hours rail blocking called bishnupriya manipuri student union, on this faithful day, when she was leading the procession to stop the train near kalkalighat station track in karimganj district she became a martyr when a police bullet fell her.
On 18 march, 1996 her last rites were performed on the bank of the longai river. her self secrifice will remain etched in golden letters forever in the history of Bishnupriya Manipuri Community.
